This is us! We are both retired and doing what we have been dreaming about FOREVER !!

We are located in Port Royal, South Carolina, a small town with a BIG port along the intercoastal waterways of the Beaufort River in Beaufort County. This community is touted to be “COOL, Coastal, and Out of the Ordinary!”  Indeed I can attest to that truth. It is rich in history and full of music, restaurants, and home to the Cypress Garden which houses 1,000’s of birds roosting and migrating from early spring thru fall. Art thrives here with small shops housing locals’ unique creations. The simplicity of an environment surrounded by art and nature is truly valued. But what’s’ most valued is the close knit community vibe. It’s a special place that nurtures creativity.

Meet Gail
My background consists of having a grandmother, Anna, who learned how to sew on the assembly lines in NYC factories during the Great Depression. She was a perfectionist who grew through the years to having her own custom dress shop- an art that has since been retired it seems. Resultantly, my grandmother introduced me to the world of fabrics and Vogue dress patterns through our frequent trips to fabric stores. All of my clothes were custom made by her and  invaluable lessons were absorbed during these trips about fabrics, style, fit, and most importantly the presence that dress reflects. It was then that I realized that dressing is an ART and that the finishing touch to pull any outfit together is a HAT!

You can readily see that our combined passions for texture, fabrics, and color combinations developed and is now being actualized through the making of HATS!!  Style, dress, fabrics, semi precious jewels and feathers are what we incorporate on only quality made hats to make you a unique (1 of a kind) hat style to match your “attitude” for most any occasion! Individuality is preserved by making only 1 of each style – so no mass production here! This commitment to quality and style guarantees durability, comfort, and a luxurious feel in every one of our handcrafted hats. The clock has no hands when we are creating!
